Not sure what to give members of your overseas family for the holidays this year? Not excited about standing in line at the post office to mail silk bags, ties and pashminas back to friends and family? Consider filling a Giving Tree bag on their behalf. People will appreciate the time you took to shop on their behalf and fill a bag to help a child. While we can see firsthand the impact these gift bags can have on a child’s life by attending the distribution ceremonies near our homes, we can provide a glimpse into one of these for our families with a card.
Giving Tree has created cards you can print and send to your chosen friend or family member to let them know what you have done on their behalf. Let them see how your time here in China has been affected by your surroundings, by these children and their circumstances.
